CVARR’s strength lies in the diverse representation, varying perspectives, knowledge, and experiences of our members.  The coalition is composed of citizens and organizations of the Central Virginia Region who all share one vision “to promote a safe and healthier community for all.” We value all contributions and partnerships within the community which is why there are no qualifications to become an active member of CVARR.  Therefore, we seek to have members representing 12 sectors of the community. These sectors are youth, parents, businesses, media, school systems, youth serving organizations, religious or fraternal organizations, law enforcement, civic and volunteer groups, health care professional, state, local or tribal agencies, and other organizations involved in reducing substance use.
